Carrie Conway
Owner
Carrie is originally from upstate New York where she grew up doing gymnastics. She started coaching in high school and has never stopped! She received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Cortland in 2012 and her Master’s from The University of South Carolina in 2015. After graduating from USC she became the head coach at a gym in Savannah, GA. Carrie opened Coastal in August of 2017.
Alli Hayes
General Manager
Alli moved to Bluffton from Rochester, New York in 2017. She has a background in competitive dance and cheer. While living in New York she coached competitive gymnastics levels 2-4. She has extensive choreography experience having choreographed for the Rochester Razor Sharks, Rochester Rattler Dancers and the Rochester Raiderettes and many gymnasts! She has been with Coastal since the very beginning and works with almost every kid who comes through our doors!
Melissa Devenney
Team Coach
Melissa was a competitive gymnast in South Carolina for 6 years. She has been coaching at gyms in the Bluffton area for the past 4 years. Melissa is a United States Marine Veteran. She is currently in school for her degree in Tactical Strength and Conditioning at the Citadel. Gymnastics has always been a passion of hers and she loves watching each gymnast grow.
Leah Timbo
Recreational Director/ Team Coach
Leah is from Louisville, KY. She has a background in competitive dance and theatre. She attended Morehead State University where she did choreography for several theatre musicals. She went on to win several awards for choreography. She taught dance for 6 years and loves teaching all her students at Coastal.
